Il vecchio e la bambina

Watched first hour. Main character rides his bike to visit various historic sites in an Italian town. A series of quotes accompany us as we view these places of history and nature. After he reconnects with himself he has his granddaughter join him to learn about her past and his present.

So, he takes her to visit caves that reveal a sublime part of nature we rarely see. Fortunately, she is not holding a cell phone and can enjoy what is before her.

The photography is well thought out and keeps us interested. The soundtrack although continuous is pleasant. The granddaughter appreciates his surprise and begins to have a better understanding of who she is and where she came from.
