Acting and screenplay is commendable but the storyline is little outdated and easily predictable. It's neither thriller nor horror movie . The flashback scene is the drawback for this movie.

The plot is very good and the cast done very good in their parts. Mainly hatsoff to director to present the film in a new way. Loved the background score the movie.

Please watch vanam in theaters. It's one of the movie that speaks about reincarnation. If ppl ruin nature, they will be punished is the gist of the story. Yet another flick that speaks about tribals and the problems they face by the society. Kudos to music, visuals and screenplay. Climax will steal your heart 💓 Though it starts slowly, the speed picks up soon. Good watch. Recommended for those who look for different script.

Again very good movie from Tamil industry. This film makes u sit on the edge of the seat. The lead actors are done their very good and background score is amazing for some scenes. Some scenes gives goosebumps.. especially climax...go and watch near ur theaters. One more point director done very good job by handling this tricky subject.

Srikantan Anand's Vanam which piqued the curiousity of film buffs with its compelling trailer revolves around the tale of an unusual reincarnation. Vetri who plays the lead in the film is regarded as someone who has a knack of picking intriguing scripts. Music and visual depts are soothing for movie must watch.

Run of the mill story and serial drama style execution makes it difficult to watch. The predictability is biggest failure for this kind of movie. It could have been better in lot other ways.

History does repeat itself is the core concept of this film.

The film does go a bit interesting until the twist is revealed with past characters taking rebirth but the making was so poor, maybe due to their budget constraints. This film is another example that just concept alone doesn't make a movie as watchable, there should be some good making as well to make it worth a watch, still, this film deserves at least one-time watch for its different story-telling with a fantasy kinda tone.

A very amicably directed film, embedded with Outstanding Cinematography and apt music are the heartthrob of the movie. The actors have done a very good job by portraying the required acting skills for the characters involved. Sidekicks of the movie have also delivered very well. Generally the suspense part of this genre of movies could be guessed but it was not so with Vanam. The cinematography in the Jungle shoot stands out and the BGM by the music director supports it very well. The climax was just as required in terms of the time and was finished with pretty decent screenplay. The director was able to narrate and showcase the movie in intriguing manner.

The screenplay could have been more interesting But overall it's worth for one time watch.

As usual the male lead was excellent.

So this is a thriller based movie, which will be in the forest. In theatres, the audience will be thrilled and they will be brought to the edge of the seat. Every scenes in the movie are visually appealing. Hoping that everyone would like the movie and enjoy it in theatres.

Hero of the film, Vetri's acting is on top class. There are two heroines in the film, Anu Sitara and Smruthi Venkat. They have also done a great work in this movie.

This is one film where I experienced goosebumps in the climax scene where the character's acting, camera work and background score together will give you an extodinary encounter. The best part of the movie is when the plot slowly unties the truth and the final part will keep you hooked up. Anu Sitara was so beautiful as a village head girl and both Vela ramamoorthy and Azhagam Perumal have played their part very well. Cinematography is outstanding and will give you spine chilling moments as well as breezy cool touch with scenic views. A perfect watch for the monsoon to feel the forest effect. Good luck team👍

Nalla padam kudubathoda parunga....last 45 mins tickles our bone to watch comparatively to the first haf of the film.background score and stunt is awesome and the whole film is short and crispy. Do watch it ....Definitely a thumbs up.

Vanam too begins on a promising note with a different plot. However the story goes haywire once its screenplay falters after a point and things become too predictable. The movie also reminds of recent Tamil film Boomika because of the similarity it shares with the latter with regard to touching upon the topic of forest conservation.kudos to team.
