Rewind 1984

This is quite possibly the dumbest thing i have seen in a while. The plot was so dumb and the characters were stupid. This movie eventually becomes so bad its good. There is a part at the begining when the mask starts to talk and i couldnt stop laughing. Good god, this movie was atrocious. The only part that i thought worked was probably the retro score. Everything else was such a drag. I suggest you watch this if you want to watch something dumb. If you watch this with a critica mindset like me, you will have a bad time. This is definetely one of those mindless slasher films that doesn't want to be taken seriously. I watched this with a few of my buddies. They all loved it for its goofy style and tone, but i thought it was a bit of a mess. 3.5/10.

The movie is fun but the characters feel pretty flat. I understand that its a short but the characters felt uninspired. The killer is cool. I wish some of the kills happened on screen more but i guess they didnt have much of a budget. Some of the action was fine. Editing was okay. If youre looking to waste 20 minutes then this is for you. Just dont expect to be blown away. Feels inspired by friday the 13th or something like that. In the end this short is a fun slasher but it fails at everything else. Theres definitely better slasher short films out there but it wasnt the worst thing ive ever seen.

I had seen this film last night and i honestly had a good time watching it. Its not feature length, but it still has decent pacing. Its not over the top with violence, so if thats what youre looking for, you wont find it here. The music felt very fitting for the 80s tone, and it made the film even more dramatic. The writing was pretty good and there were even some bits of humor that made me laugh. It think it works very well as a horror/comedy film. My only big gripe with the film is some of the editing. Some of it feels a bit jumpy and clunky, but for the most part, it works. Overall, i would recommend this, especially if you like slasher films.
