Sophie Marceau in With Love... from the Age of Reason (2010)

Trivia

With Love... from the Age of Reason

Edit
Marguerite has images of noted female figures in her desk and she uses them as role models in her business dealings. Most are well-known e.g. Coco Chanel, Ava Gardner, Joan of Arc, Marie Curie (Marie Curie). One name - Denise Fabre - will be unfamiliar to non-French audiences. Denise Fabre is a noted French radio and television presenter, and has hosted the Eurovision Song Contest. She has also worked as a journalist.
Maitre Mérignac is seen pruning a rose bush he calls 'Rosa gallica'. He makes the comment that the variety is the ancestor of all roses. 'Rosa gallica' is recognized as one of earliest cultivars of the rose family, known to ancient Greeks and Romans as well as mediaeval gardeners. It is believed that most modern European roses have some trace of Rosa gallica in their ancestry.
Philibert and Marguerite meet at the 'Angel Cave'. There are no major caves nor grottoes near Saou, nor is there a cave system called 'Angel Cave' or 'Angel Grotto' in France. The nearest cave/ grotto to Saou which matches the appearance of the one in the film is 'Grotte de Choranche', which lies to the north.
