She wore a green sleeve around her arm and it was digitally removed in post-production. In a few scenes that didn't require her full view, Bethany Hamilton was the body double for her. One scene in which this was apparent was after she left the competition after wiping out and breaking her board - when she removed her t-shirt to expose her arm to the press. The scarring was somewhat different, with actually tooth marked scars showing on the shoulder area. Those are not present in other shots that use Robb herself.
