The film was shot entirely in Hasbrouck Heights, New Jersey, in Robert Delcalzo's home, college friend to Director Joe Bandelli.
This is the first short film put together under the production company, "Shameless Wizard." Shameless Wizard consists of Director Joe Bandelli, Actor Matthew Wise, and Unit Production Manager William Harfosh.
Producer Amy Klewitz served as both producer as well as Hair/Make-Up Artist on the film.
The original story and characters of "Strussel Games" were created for fun by Actor Matthew Wise and he believed it to be a joke when Director Joe Bandelli told him he wanted to make it into a short film.
The shots used when Baxter and Ursula open their gifts were identical to the way the guests in the feature film "Clue" were seen opening their gifts as an homage to one of the Director's favorite childhood films.
