A new Madonna album is on the way. The legendary performer confirmed on social media Thursday that she’s working on Confessions 2, the follow up to her 2005 Confessions On a Dance Floor.

“My Valentine’s Day gift to all my fans is to let you know I’m putting my heart and soul into my new music and I can’t wait to share it with you!!,” the singer wrote in an Instagram post accompanied by the Confessions track “Future Lovers.” She didn’t share any details about a potential release date.

Within the blink of an eye, 9-1-1 Season 8 rolled out its first half, leaving us in that lowly hiatus period until the show returns in late winter next year.

Coming off a shortened 9-1-1 Season 7, the series launched with another three-part opening disaster, which, by all accounts, was a rousing success. Then, it settled back into some character-focused storylines to close out the season.

But while the opening hour had everyone buzzing, subsequent hours were more hit or miss, with some stories being speedrun through, beloved characters being sidelined at times, and disjointed storylines leaving us frustrated.

Usher has officially kicked off the Past Present Future Tour after needing to postpone his first few shows due to an injury.

The 45-year-old singer packed in more than 45 songs into a two-hour set list on opening night on Tuesday (August 20) at Capitol One Arena in Washington, D.C.

Usher told USA Today, “I’m promoting a legacy: past, present and future. I’ve been doing this long enough to celebrate the legacy of my music from the beginning of my career up until an incredible moment that I’m having.”

The Tokyo International Film Festival (TIFF) is pleased to announce the names that will join this year’s Jury President Tony Leung on the International Competition jury of its 37th edition, running from October 28 – November 6.

Tony Leung’s fellow jurors will be Hungarian film director and screenwriter Enyedi Ildikó, who won the Golden Bear for On Body and Soul in the main competition section of the 67th Berlin International Film Festival in 2017; Japanese actress Hashimoto Ai, who served as TIFF’s ambassador for two consecutive years, in 2021 and 2022; French actress Chiara Mastroianni, winner of the Best Performance for her role in Christophe Honoré’s On a Magical Night in the Un Certain Regard section of the 72nd Cannes Film Festival; and Hong Kong filmmaker Johnnie To, renowned as a standard-bearer of Hong Kong noir after his Election was selected for the 58th Cannes Film Festival in 2005.
