Great writing, sound and performances by all involved! I've found a few gems, but it's hard to find such an engrossing story in podcast format. Binged it and now I'm sad. I need more!!
Like reading an incredible book but you can listen to it whilst driving & doing other things. Excellent listening for a long haul flight too. Episodes are 30mins each but totally bingeable as you won't want to stop listening!
Amazing scripted Podcast with incredible writing actors & sound design.
Incredibly important topics and themes relevant to our real lives woven into a story of humanity and what they will do for each other & to survive when life turns upside down.
The story is captivating from ep 1 & S2 gets even better as the story unfolds! Can't wait to hear more!
Highly recommend!!!

This very good cast have put in sterling performances, and the sparkling production really move this along at a good pace. However, what is absolutely outstanding is the soundscape. Very well defined location atmosphere and natural sounds make this very listenable. Consistent scene seperation also really help to make the scene changes clear, which, as the story changes locations and jumps back and forward in the timeline is really smart. Mustn't forget that it's a well crafted storyline without the usual tropes. This is even more amazing when you consider that it was largely completed remotely while in lockdown during COVID!
I didn't wanna rate it a 10/10 because nothing is perfect, but honestly this podcast novella might be. First off, the story is very straightforward which I appreciate because I have ADHD and can't listen to stuff like this usually. The actors are convincing and its kinda like a more badass audio book. It'd be cool if more people started doing these because it was AMAZING for the long road trip I had to take.
It's also super trippy if you're a fan of the Walking Dead. To hear "Laurie" talking to "Negan" is insane.
Probably the only podcast I recommend if someone asked me, which is rare. I'd love a another season or whatever you would call a part two for a podcast.
