    Childish women

I have to agree with everyone here, it seems like if things don't go the women's way they behave badly. Bradley is mad and so she throws a temper tantrum at her awards ceremony. Alex is upset so she doesn't show up for the rocket launch. She trained for months, yet she bails?? It was understandable in the first season when tensions were high and people were devastated and upset. But now in the third season they are so unprofessional and it's actually immature.

I also agree with others the storylines from last season just vanished.

Of course this is a very liberal show. And getting more so.....

The Hit Drama that has won Apple TV+

The Morning Show's Season 3 premiere suggests it has killed off a main character, played by an A-List lead, by strapping her into a rocket and launching her into suborbital space. The Apple TV+ drama, previously known for its realistic portrayal, has ended its COVID-related play-by-play, and the show has become more enjoyable this season due to its newfound focus on the character's survival. The season of The Office has shifted from Cory Ellison's frenzied monologues to Billy Crudup's gleefully delivered diatribes. Episode 1, released today, takes viewers into a present-day UBA facing financial woes, where Cory seeks a bailout from Elon Musk-esque tech mogul. This season's space-y shenanigans are just the tip of the rocket, as the show's tone now more aligns with Crudup's diatribes. The premiere of Alex Unfiltered, a popular show on UBA+, begins with an obituary video dedicated to Alex. However, it soon shows her alive and watching it in the control room with Chip and Isabella, her assistant. The package was pulled together to prepare for a suborbital flight she was scheduled to ride during a live broadcast. Two years after the Season 2 finale, Alex Unfiltered has become a hit for UBA+ due to her relatability and the public's sympathy for her. As she celebrates her second decade at the network, she is pressing Cory to give her a seat on the board of directors and a say in the network's future. She warns him that if he doesn't agree, she will leave, but Cory promises to keep her happy. At a meeting with board chair Cybil and news head Greta, it is revealed that Cory has been cutting costs at the network to maintain UBA+'s success. Cybil warns him not to burn through their reserves. Bradley, now the anchor of UBA's nightly news, is pursuing a story about abortion laws in Texas until Greta shuts it down. Greta explains that Bradley's effectiveness is due to her trust among Americans of different political beliefs. At an American Alliance of Journalists event, Bradley has a run-in with Laura, who they fought in Montana and fled. Cory advises her to slow down until after her acceptance speech, but she refuses. She suspects Cory was behind the abortion story being killed, but he denies involvement. He then grabs her bottle and leaves. Alex introduces her co-worker, Bradley, who reported the insurrection using her phone during a press conference. Bradley, who had been separated from her camera crew, decided to use her phone to report the incident, earning her the First Amendment Award. She tries to silence Bradley, but she eventually walks away. Alex later finds Bradley lamenting an abortion story about a woman who travels to Mexico monthly to get pills for women who cannot drive hours to have a procedure. Alex advises her co-worker to let this story go, but becomes deeply interested in the story herself as she and the TMS team travel to Texas for the rocket launch. In the Lone Star State, Alex meets Paul Marks, the head of the rocket company and the person who will accompany her and Cory during the launch. They get to know each other and Alex asks Cory about the deal. Cory confesses that UBA needs someone with "more money than God" to help them out of a financial rough spot. Alex isn't comforted by his assurance that she'll be taken care of if the deal goes through. Later that night, Alex receives a text from Bradley, who asks her to spare a camera operator. Cory intercepts Bradley at JFK International Airport and asks her to return the favor. A flash visual of someone washing their bloody hands triggers something in her, and she agrees to do what he says. The story highlights the tension between Alex and Cory, as well as the potential consequences of their actions.

    what was this episode for

After the confusing ending of season 2, we get an even more confusing beginning. Same thing again, everyone fights, alex boycotts against everyone. I kind of watched a recap of the previous seasons, but only with the thing about the rocket. Why was this rocket, like. I would like to see the end of the seasons come to an end, instead of finishing one story line and throwing us into another after a few years. I understand that the show should cover the most relevant events, but even covid in season 2 did not give anything, only Alex's speech at UBA+ and then another break and we are already in 2022. This episode is very random, probably the worst, I hope season 3 will not disappoint.

    Same Old Stuff

Here we go...Alex is reminding Cory that she is responsible for the success of UBA and UBA+. Bradley is arguing with Stella about how they were supposed to change UBA and she should be able to tell the abortion story and THEN Bradley is defensive and angry at Laura because she didn't behave exactly like she wanted her too while they were in Montana. In other words...zero character development or new angles to drive the plot forward.

And I'm only 30 minutes into the episode.

Not sure I can sit through more episodes of the same old thing...toxic workplace, everybody angry and fighting all the time.

    • Goofs
When Alex and Bradley are riding the elevator together, Alex mentions that she had to create her own obituary video in which her life is cut down to 90 seconds to a "Beach Boys cover". However, the original video shows she clearly said something else and they inserted a dubbed audio clip instead.
