A waste of time

At the beginning I loved the serie, but the story really started to bother me. Turkan's mother in law is so mean, Somer character is so weak and Turkan's naivity is so ridiculous, I couldn't stand it anymore. So I stopped watching the show.

Boring

Oh no, what a boring story. There is really no intrigue and it's such a slow moving story that I keep falling asleep. And then most of the story happens in slow motion too...as if it's not slow enough already. And the acting...it's definitely the director's or screenwriters' fault as the two main characters are good but not so much in this series. I haven't read the book it's based on but I have no interest in doing so either.

Turkan's character is like a child - unstable and lacking vision, and so is Somer

The drama seriously lacks moral value. Abuse, infidelity, and even murder are treated lightly and easily forgiven, as if there are no real consequences. It's not healthy for the mind and doesn't promote any positive message. Turkan behaves like a child - emotionally unstable and lacking any clear direction in life, and Somer is just the same. The sensible, logical characters are pushed to the side, while the three sisters constantly lie to and hide things from each other. Sadik, the father, bizarrely keeps a criminal and an abusive ex-husband close to his daughter, which is completely illogical and unrealistic.

great start devolving into trash

I liked the start, it was the story of a nice close knit family that slowly but surely became crazy and toxic, remaining toxic till the very end. It shows awful people kidnapping, commiting psychological violence, physical violence, murder and everything goes unpunished( worst offenders being the male lead and his mother) but the worst of all is that all that horrible behaviour then is seen as romantic just because this series is that twisted.

The female lead has no guts, no self respect and never grows up sticking to an awful toxic relationship. If you liked this maybe you like being in abusive relationships and see them as romantic go get you head checked.

A fantastic drama

Besides the fact that the main reason I was wanting to see this show of it having my favorite actress Ozgu Kaya as one of the leads, I was quite excited by how it was based on a novel whose very writer is also the actress of the drama. I was also glad that a Turkish drama was focusing on female protagonists which is a big change. Thankfully, my expectations were met, as if I hadn't seen the trailers I would have been utterly shocked by the big reveal( which I will not tell you as I intend to not give spoilers and I recommend you to not see trailers as they always reveal everything in Turkish dramas). Besides that I was also fascinated with the overall acting and story-like depiction of real life problems in this drama.

Abusive Mom-In-Law

I like the story, felt like it is being dragged a little though, want to see more "drama" & action between Türkan & Somer! I feel a real situation like that might have more interaction. I find the EVIL mother in law and all her abuse towards Turkan hard to watch! (Brilliant acting) - Türkan is way too "slow and naive" and truly hope she develops into a woman that overcome because she makes the viewer frustrated for being so timid!

Perfekt series!

I will make this comment for my favorite actress Ozgu Kaya. I am very happy to be in the role of Türkan. The cast of the series are very good actors. He has a story that impressed me. I recommend everyone to watch it.

Angry

I hate that Mine the snake 🐍 is winning, why can'tTurkin mother stop meddling and let them be together. She's so stubborn she doesn't let Somer explain just jumps and leaves. This was my favorite show because the snake wasn't getting ahead but now it's just frustrating to watch. I sure hope there's a huge turn around cuz if Mine and isomer get back together it will ruin this show. So different from American dramas though I love it when it's not frustrating me lol team TURKIN&SOMER.

I wish I could find spoilers to see what lies ahead, praying for a better outcome where Mine gets killed off and everyone is happy.

A book done justice

Three Sisters by Ical Aydin has been one of my favorite novels for quite some time. I was very excited to hear that it was going to be adapted as a series. To be honest I was worried that the drama wouldn't be able to be a successful adaptation but once I saw the episode, I was impressed by the acting and the scenario. Hopefully if the shows maintins this standard there would be no stopping it from winning many rewards or just being remembered for its unique story and great acting.

Simply a Treat

From the scenario, to the cast, to the suspense and the tension it is all a multi-layered bonus! Every character seems to have been given justice, for instance no one exists without a motive, a purpose, even the characters who seem to be random actually have a purpose to and of course that may not be revealed from the beginning. I hope that the character of Turkan will become more confident and self-subsisting moving on because we all need to see the "INDEPENDANT HEROINE". Hopefully in episodes to come we will be able to see a more confident and less damsel-like Turkan. For the rest of the matter I am glad that this is one of the series where family life is really crucial and female characters are being shown at least more capable of wisdom and freedom than before as for the case of Turkan at least they showed in a way that she is aiming to solve her problems which I believe should be the eventual direction the show should take that we don't need a hero to take us out of our problems as they will never stopping popping by so we ourselves would have to rise above them(not wait to die until the imaginary prince/hero comes by)

Stop treating female protagonist shows with inferiority

I am simply astounded by both the plot and character development of the show and the proof of this are the rise in Turkish ratings of the show but I simply cannot stand this bad treatment towards the show. If you want to see typical street mafia stories with no gain see Uc Kurus and if you want to see historically inaccurate and slanderous series you can see uyanis buyuk selcuklu (though the alparsalan is better)

I am glad I waited patiently, but this was above my expectations!

Initially I was disappointed with the slow beginning of the series but knowing the scenario having read the novel myself and also knowing that the writer herself was closely attached to both the cast(being one of the leads herself) and aiding the script writers I thought I shouldn't give up just yet so I proceeded watching each episode. The tryst I put was worth it as unlike other series like Elkizi the fate of the bad guys does not have to be sealed to be the bad guy through out and that is what I love about this series as even the cruel mother-in-law of Turkan seems to become more kind towards Turkan which is more realistic as no person can be pure veil or pure good. I am hoping that the series will continue to surprise me as quite a lot of shocking reveals are left to be uncovered and I would not want to spoil it for you.

Really god and well thought series

This series represent all the drama between traditional families. It is very well acted and very well written. Turcan and Somer are only the consequence of their families believes and traditions... I will recommend everyone to watch it!

New Drama!

The drama story that impressed me the most in 2022, screenwriter iclal Aydin wrote this script for his novel before and it is now a TV series. I really liked his acting and writing. I really like the songs in the series and the period of 1998. I am watching the story of Türkan and Somer with interest.
