Once again albanians being demonized without even bothering to do basic research on them. Such a lazzy amarcian trope.
A) albanians don't speak Slavic. Scenes in which a albanian nationalist supposedly uses "da' and speaks slavic is ridicules like come on. Carrying on pathetic strio types which is all the more dispcable when the writer claims to want to stand up to those kind of discrimination. Liek come on if your goina invent a bad guys atlest bother to get the language and motivations correct.
B) albanians don't have slavic accents.
C) "oligarchs" don't really exist in Albania not in the same way they do in slavic countries. "lions" as thier called. Do have some depreoranted economic power, and thier is ovlzy politcal currption in the country.. but, protests and democracy are alive and well comparably.
D) lol no one is stopping Albania from going to kosova or albana, theirs no "Albanian refugees" their are ovlzy land which is in serba and NM that is albanans live and wish they were apart of the albanian countires.
C) the ANA operates in kosova and northern masadoina and serba And was removed from terror list in 2015.
C) the've never been known to take hostages.

I am Bulgarian and live in Sofia. You did no effort to present the capital in any way. You used one Bulgarian actor, you didn't even bother to get the actors learn one sentence in Bulgarian, you just slapped stickers on the uniforms of the officers with our flag. The train station.....that was a piece of art , no where to be found in Bulgaria. Do your homework better.
Considering the fact that the whole series is based in Europe, you could at least make the effort to research the countries that the action is taking place in.
You obviously rely on the American viewership and hope they are not familiar with Eastern Europe.
Well let me spring something on you - almost 20% of the population of the US comes from eastern europe.

The writers need to learn about the EU and former USSR states. Bulgaria is a member of the EU, not the USSR. The idea that countries would use gas on citizens wouldn't happen.
The writers are keen to ensure Police in Europe are just carbon copies of USSR state police and is absolutely ridiculous.
Then again, the writers wouldn't get their Americans good, everybody else bad narrative.
The writers clearly believe that American morality is better than everything else another tired trope.
Seriously, retire the tropes because the basis of the storyline was actually good.

It's a fun episode and puts everything in a international position so police are bullies these days in every country.
I live in Bulgaria.
Didn't have hese friendly experience.
The Kommissar is what I kniw of Bulgarian police.

So far, the scripts have been exceptional, more than compensating for the relative blandness of the cast. This was a taut, well-written version of an oft-used terrorists with hostages scenario, complete with antagonists on both sides of the law.
So why did they have to cheapen the whole thing with the team's heroic dog (one of the more charismatic regulars) clinging to life due to unrelated, and completely unnecessary, circumstances? Cheesy move, people.

- TriviaIn October 2002, Chechen separatists seized Dubrovka, a Moscow theater, and took hostages to protest atrocities in their homeland and demanded an end to the war in the region. A tactical unit of Russia's Ministry of Internal Affairs released fentanyl gas into the theater to end the stand-off. All forty of the insurgents were killed, and up to 130 hostages died during the siege.
- GoofsThe Fly Team should have worn protective headgear with entering the Philharmonic like the Albanian police.
