    Feels like Christmas at GAC.

One more movie like Hallmark used to make. The story is simple, with a touch of Christmas spirit. The delivery is straightforward, with no hidden or intrusive messages. The entire cast works well and the lead actors, Jill Wagner and Nick Bateman, render their story credible. Rubi Tupper, playing Daisy at her debut, is super cute and a joy to watch. The film offers no striking moments or sensations. Just a world of nice people with kind sentiments and a little help from Santa. This is the kind of shows that leave you feeling better inside, as you expect at Christmas time.

    Santa always brings gift.

This is a good movie for Christmas but there are so many good movies for Christmas. Christmas is all about feel-good movies and happy endings. This movie totally fits in.

The story is about a girl name Whitney who runs an interior business with her best friend. They got a big contract from Whitney's ex-boyfriend and she agree to work with him. He and her daughter move there they need their home to be ready by Christmas. His daughter is wishing for a mother. How that goes is basically the movie.

I love the hotel part where they got two rooms separate otherwise in every rom-com hotel scene is pretty common always two ex-lovers got one room and then you know what happened.

You know sometimes loving someone and never unloving them is beautiful. You just can't forget some people. This story is about positivity. I love the way Connor is becoming a father and getting to know how to live life with a family.

    It's a cute story.

    Standard Christmas stuff

Pretty much the usual Hallmark Christmas stuff but on their new competition - GAC Family.

This movie has no great highs or lows or surprises. There isn't a lot of dramatic tension. The Misunderstanding is a bit lame but follows the usual lines.

The acting is OK. The standout is Rubi Tupper as Daisy. She does a great job without overacting. So many Christmas movies get a boost from a well-done child in the mix.

Let's face it. A lot of longtime fans of Hallmark are ticked at them for going woke. GACF appears to be a breakaway promising to stick to the traditional ways. The old fans are rooting for GACF. But this movie, like pretty much all the other Christmas 2021 GACF offerings, was decent, family oriented, but nothing great. The same is true of most of the other 2021 offerings from Hallmark, UpTV and Lifetime. I didn't think it was a great year. However in my opinion, the few standouts there were in terms of sentiment and pure entertainment happened on one of the Hallmark channels or Lifetime.

Not the best, not the worst

I love Jill Wagner. She's one of my absolute favorites. Nick Bateman is totally gorgeous but he seemed a bit stiff in this. The storyline is predictable, yes, but movies in this genre tend to be predictable so when people express surprise when it turns out how they thought...I'm like what did you expect!?? That being said, this wasn't one of my favorites. It was cute, and sweet, but fell a little short. Felt rushed and not quite fully developed. Still cute but GAC is doing sooooo much better this year vs last. Last year it felt like they were just trying to replicate Hallmark whereas this years movies are much more original.

    Do you believe in miracles?

Really did like the premise for 'A Christmas Miracle for Daisy', no make that love. It sounded so moving and you know a film does something right when its premise immediately connects with you even before watching like it did with me. This premise connected with me personally, which is already something in its favour. Something that has not been the case for any film in a while. Of all the GAC Family films seen so far, this has the most relatable premise.

'A Christmas Miracle for Daisy' manages to be one of GAC Family's best films so far along with 'Much Ado About Christmas', their output has been a very mixed bag but some of it has been good and more and 'A Christmas Miracle for Daisy' is one of them. And one of the few to live up to its full potential and come close to exceeding it. It may not be a flawless film, have seen very few Christmas films or films in general that have fitted into that category, but it is one of the better ones seen in recent months.

Beginning with what could have been (a little) better, Perhaps a bit slow in the early stages, with it taking a while to get started.

Did feel too that the misunderstanding was on the predictable and forced side.

However, so much is good about 'A Miracle for Daisy'. It is very professionally filmed and the locations are simply beautiful. It isn't overscored, too constant or too loud, refreshing as this has been heard a lot by me overtime in film and television and it is tiresome really. The script is a lot less cheesy and schmaltzy than most Christmas films and did find it very sincere, very affecting and that it never sounded awkward. It is also not over-serious, with a light hearted-ness that was very appealing.

The story is gentle pace-wise but still engaging and heartfelt, it also warmed my heart and inspired me and handled a very personal true to life subject sensitively. The characters were worth connecting with and the film is well acted. Jill Wagner and Nick Bateman gave very honest and confident performances and can't wait to see more of Rubi Tupper, whose cute and natural presence makes for one of the better child acting performances in the past few months.

Summing up, very well done. 8/10.
