Starts slow which is a set back of this story telling. Once the pace picks up, it's turns out to be a lovely watch.. of course there are gaps in story execution but the actors make the flaws look like a miniature. It's an emotional joy ride with a happy ending, some shades of 'A star is born'!!

Janhvi Kapoor is a winner!! It's very easy to see how she is becoming a good actor from a very bad one when she started, in many a places she acts like here legendary mom!! Looks like her, of course!!

Rajkumar is of course the usual, v good along with other supporting cast. Watch this one with patience and love, it deserves a thumps up!!

Yes, agreed, it's a one time watch. The modern take on the cult classic Abhimaan, but in this case it's cricket. Somehow the emotional connect could be established or rather lasted longer. Thodi zyada gyanwardhak hai rather than an entertaining watch. Performances are good, music is good, bgm is ok. The best part is the creative take on mahiway, which was hilarious. Rajkumar Rao's performance was a surprising notch down after the masterclass of Srikanth, whereas jhanvi's performance is getting better and better in each movie and her script choice is equally good.

Would have loved to see a cameo of the real mahi, but that perhaps would cost more than the entire budget of the movie, so let it be.

The trailer of Mr & Mrs Mahi did it dirty by giving away too much plot. Trailer single handedly ruined the experience for many. If you're deciding whether to watch it, skip the trailer.

There are many negative reviews but if uou watch it without any expectations, you'll find it very captivating and heart warming.

The acting of lead actors is pretty good, although it takes time to accept Jahnvi because she looks so polished (not her fault) that she looks out of place in the beginning portions. But few minutes into the film, her acting and no-make-up look makes her character believable. Rajkumar gave his best, like always. The interaction between him and his mother in the film was one of the highlights.

This is one more good film from Jahnvi after Gunjan Saxena.

I would be surprised if this movie doesn't receive the recognition it deserves. While Indian cinema faces challenges, some creators are determined to deliver their best. This film proves that a good script and talented acting are all you need to produce a quality movie, no need for foreign locations, songs, dances, or other conventional Bollywood elements. The dedication and passion shine through in every scene. It's a must watch if you thing you are putting too much energy to impress others.

The story, though brimming with potential, suffers from a screenplay riddled with loose ends. The movie becomes predictable, juggling between cricket and jealousy without fully committing to either. However, the cricket sequences lack the necessary thrill and excitement, falling flat and failing to capture the intensity of the sport. Musically, the film falls short of delivering chart-topping hits, but the songs are well-integrated into the narrative.
