    LAME!!

This movie makes me cringe can't stand it. Don't waste your time it's not worth your time... Couldn't even finish the movie. Horrible representation of Filipinos. The same old type of Filipino movies that are soo predictable. I tried watching it but it's just simply bad.

OMG, it got so irritating throughout the whole movie

I would've thought that since this was going to be in a different country with other actors other than Filipino that it would have been at least decent but damn, was I wrong! I mean how immature can one person think that they already jump to conclusions that the moms bf is a murderer? Her actions were so unrealistic and so silly that the only questions were "when is all this going to end?" And "when is it enough to stop these ridiculous conclusions". The meat of the film was all these charades and lame acting that no matter how rich the message was from the director, it got lost with the bad story line. This was a waste and I don't know how Netflix ever picked this up.

    Slush

The Filipinos churn out films like this, somewhat better than the awful TV shows they makes but still not brilliant but you so have to consider the low budgets they are restricted by.

This is all very daytime TV and you would believe what Sweet is thinking if her father hadn't already died from cancer.

They try to give you the impression that this is a murder mystery and the like of Honey is in danger but the Filipinos don't make those films.

It's a chick flick but watchable for men too just as long as you don't think too much about the plot.

Even the ending where everything should be warm and happy fails badly.

Thankfully, it is less than 90 minutes long so you don't have to endure it if you don't endear it.

The claims in the film of the characters being from Pretty Woman fall well flat. Richard and Julia Roberts this isn't (you never see a Filipino in thigh boots in films).

    Don't waste your time

Going to another country that easy? Didn't even mention a visa?

Stupid representation of how you treat your parent, poor acting by the spoiled brat, Filipinos NEVER act like that infront of other people especially being a guest. The mother (K Brosas) carried the movie. Movie seemed rush and scattered in thoughts. This is something that Netflix should put down. Bad acting by other actors,

It would've been easier if it was a comedy movie rather than a cheap and trying hard drama skit.

The setting and other foreign casts did their part well, but the predictable plot and nonsense acting by the daughter really ruins the show.

    Marriage

Director Veronica Velasco depicts how a widowed woman should exist in this society without having an existential crisis. The world of these women does not come to an end after one marriage. If in the modern world we believe that love can happen twice, then why not marriage?

Like any other free individual, even widowed women should be treated equally. The film talks at length about the fact that they should be given the freedom to make their own decisions in life, and their family should support them instead of being a burden to them and pulling them into an abyss. The only thing she demands is respect and acceptance from society. With its male figures, this film inspires the future generation that both women and men can make the world a better place through love for all - married or not.
