Trivia

The Villains of Valley View

Edit
The original working title for the show was "Amy From Amarillo". When the show was picked up to series it was changed first to "Havoc & Hartley" before becoming "Meet the Mayhems" by the time filming started. During the filming of Season 1, the title was changed again to "The Villains of Valley View" and the Mayhem family changed their last name to "Madden".
Malachi Barton is physically absent throughout much of Season 1A, instead having Colby being stuck as various objects per episode and having Barton voice them, due to Barton filming the Disney Channel Original Movie Under Wraps 2 (2022) at the same time during production.
While the use of a "banana lever" to access the entrance to the family's secret lair is the first appearance of that special fruit in the show, throughout Season 1 various crew and cast members would incorporate bananas into different scenes for each episode. There may not be a banana in every scene, but there is at least one in every episode you see.
It was announced in Oct. 2024 that the show had been cancelled after two seasons.
The premise of the show is similar in vein to The Thundermans (2013). Both shows feature a super-powered family trying to live a normal life, the teenage daughter is the protagonist, and the brother is more intent on training on the opposite side of the family.
