    Wow I'm so obsessed!

I love the original Bridgerton series but this is just WOW!! Just when you thought it couldn't get any better and boy did they knock it out of the ballpark. Shonda's writing was just brilliant and I couldn't take my eyes off the two lead actors. India and Corey portrayals of their characters was just amazing and a joy to watch. They really gave it their all and took me on a roller coaster full of emotions. I never cried so hard on the last episode thinking it was just going to be a cute story of how they met but this was so much more!! We also get to see another side of Brimsley and a bit of his character and I'm proud to say he's become one of my favorite characters in the Bridgerton series. Again that last episode is a must watch!

    Absolutely Fantastic

Dear Gentle Reader this may come as no surprise to you that this has been a most excellent start to the series. It has wit and romance. The cast are, once again, truly remarkable. The music is a masterpiece in disguising modern music as orchestral pieces of the period. I sat, spellbound for the entire hour long episode. With past and present storylines merging together beautifully. The most unforgettable moment in this episode, for me was, by far the moment that Queen Charlotte summons her children for a good talking to. 15 children with 13 surviving and not a legitimate child amongst them, one of the best scenes.

    • Trivia
It is true that upon the death of Princess Charlotte of Wales (1796-1817) and her stillborn son, Queen Charlotte and King George had no legitimate living grandchildren nor great-grandchildren. This prompted a succession crisis. To prevent the throne passing to a distant relative, the King's unmarried sons were encouraged to look for wives and father children.
    • Goofs
Queen Charlotte gets mad that her daughters have not had any babies. In real life several of her daughters wanted to get married early in their lives but Charlotte and George denied them. Several daughters did get married but all were married in their early to mid 40s when there was little chance of having children.
    • Quotes

      Queen Charlotte: Hello, my children.

Prince Adolphus: Mummy, it is so early.

Prince Augustus: Mother, you cannot summon us this way.

Prince William: It's not fair. I will not stand for it.

Prince Edward: Really. We have lives.

Prince Adolphus: We have business to attend to.

Queen Charlotte: By business, do you mean fornicating with your mistresses, or do you mean producing more bastards for me to ignore?

Prince Edward: My word. There are impressionable ladies present.

Queen Charlotte: Impressionable? Trust me, Edward. No sexual innuendo makes an impression upon your sisters. I wish it did, that they might get ideas to marry and start fornicating.

      Princess Sophia: Mother!

Queen Charlotte: Perhaps, then, I might have legitimate grandbabies. Instead, virgins to the left of me, whores to the right.
