I don't know if this is a hot take, but I prefer watching the movie over the anime, the movie cut all the boring part's and let all the good scenes.

Demon slayer don't have a epic and philosophy history, it's very good I like.

I'm my opinion Demon Slayer is better in the movies, they cut all the unnecessary scenes and let only the best part. But my biggest issue whit This show is the main characters they are very unilaterally just funny and kinda dumb.

But it's very cool.

While I'm not a big Demon Slayer fan this movie really use all the best parts of second season in a small time.

This movie have one of the best fights of all, I really like the new hashira.

Being a Naruto fan , I started watching this and from the very first episode, I'm stuck, with the story line and the great visuals, so addictive series, you'll never regret watching this and will have a never ending quest to know more, to see more and to feel more. I even look up the manga out of curiosity but then every new episode neve fail to wow me. Great. Great great.

By far the best anime i have seen, animation and the way episodes have been aired are phenomenal, every arcs are mind boggling. Its a team game, rather than showing the importance of 1 character, they have try to cover everyone with utmost efforts. Waiting for the next arcs to air.

One of the most wonderful anime that I have seen, excellent animation, fabulous drawing, amazing characters, a knitted story that never happened before.

I'm 30 and this made me feel 12 again. Sprinting home to catch the latest episode of DBZ to see if Goku or Gohan could pull it together to beat Freiza or Cell. I felt the hype, I felt the emotions, I felt the fun.

Watch it all.

Okay so this anime has led me into becoming a total anime nerd! It's Naruto level story, with amazing visuals, fighting, supernatural powers and just real wholesome people fighting for what's important. Regular, good people hoping for a better world free from demons destroying lives and families. It's such a beautiful story showing the importance of family and true friendship. Each character is different and unusual in all the best ways. The good guys are exceptional and the villains are terrifying! After EVERY season, you will want more and more so it's hard to not go on a bender! This is one of the few times the Manga and Anime are evenly matched for me. Definite watch and for the non anime fans, the story is soo good, you won't be disappointed!

A new clásico un the world of anime, the animation is out of this world. Ando the story is.. I have not words, to describe.

The movie is alright, but due to the lesser runtime, it cuts a lot of, what I consider, important buildup/setup, dialogue and slower-paced scenes, whhich then also ruins some of the pacing of the movie, all which helps in molding the anime into the awesome viewership experience that it is. It actually took me watching this movie, to help me appreciate season 2 of the show even more. Like before watching this movie, I would have given season 2 a solid 8/10. But after watching this movie, and seeing how well they managed to juggle all the action in the show, while also inserting important character stories and conversations, it has definitely made me enjoy the show more, and I would now give season two a 9.5/10 now. That said, while I very much do recommend watching the show over the movie, if you really don't have the time to watch all of season 2, you definitely can get by, with just watching this movie, as long as you know, that you might not fully understand why some characters are having certain reactions to some things. The movie is still above average, and the animation alone is absolutely gorgeous. If nothing else, you could watch this movie for Ufotables incredible animation alone. Can't wait to see them bring the next arc to life with their super talented animators!

I am a major Demon Slayer fan. And this definitely the best arc in the anime so far.... But the internet is going to go ABSOLUTELY CRAZZZZY!!!! When the final Arcs are adapted!

This is the movie to the story arc of the last demon slayer season we got so far. I remember watching it last year when it released weekly. At the beginning it was abit slow but solid then it got really good but in my opinion lost itself in making the boss fight too long. Yes it was exciting, bit waiting four to five weeks until the boss fight is over is a long time. I think the movie does it a bit better, because you do not have to wait so long.

This is a great story arc of the show and you should watch it if you are a fan. I think it also works great as a recap for the next season. And do not forget the fanatstic animation!

It's way better to watch the TV series, and cut a lot of the story that demon slayer already don't have much.

For me, the movie is very good, from the soundtrack to the image quality. The beautiful effects are realized from the original manga and it works just as well as the manga. In this movie, Nezuko is shown more, revealing her top abilities. And in my opinion, the hottest character in this part is definitely Nezuko. I don't know what to say next but why is it required to write 600 words here? Isn't that too long? Okay, let's continue this review. In this part, I'm impressed with the skills of the sound pillar when fighting with enemies, oh my god, the amazing skills are multiplied by two. The sound combined with the fighting is very satisfying.

I don't understand what there is to like with this. Much less how it gets to be on the 250 best IMDb list. Characters screaming non stop, if they are not screaming they are crying. Boring story that makes absolutely no sense other than find ways to scream and cry some more. I don't know if you should have watch the series to be able the like this more. I have watch almost all other animes on the 250 list and all are better than this one. In short it's a nightmare to watch but we had to because we are watching everything on the 250 list. I guess people came here voting to make it go up in the list.

The district arc is easily the best arc of demon slayer however he works really well in the series but not in movie format.

The main reason is because the movie cuts a lot of important scenes and dialogues, letting only the fight scenes and the result is just a lot of random battles that looks like a compilation in YouTube.

Overall: I don't recommend watch this movie but instead the TV series is way better.

There are better animes in the world that you can watch like : banana fish-Dororo-tokyo revengers-91 days And it, s not good as attack or death note but it has the same imbd it has a trash story line and the graphics covers it Hope people care about masterpieces than these useless trash.
