    Why a hamster?

I'm pretty sure that Sergeant Bentley (played by Squiggles the Hamster) was the best actor in this film. It's painfully obvious that Captain Eugene has little to no military training. I'm sure that the cast could have spent five bucks getting some retired vet, or even some off-duty service member, to consult on this.

If this was some sad attempt at outlining the effects of PTSD, all it did was solidify how little people understand the military and actual tactical warfare. I would start by casting a new Captain. This guy looked like the only action he saw was playing Modern Warfare. the hacked attempt at the thousand yard stare was a little insulting. Captain Eugene looked more like Air Guard ROTC cadet trying to play war. The rest of the cast could have been solid if not for the hilarious muzzle flash. I was expecting Wiley Coyote to walk in at any minute.

    What did I just witness???

Seven and a half minutes of my life are gone. Never to be replaced again. What an awful mess this short is. What time period is this suppose to occur in because I am pretty sure it was suppose to be Vietnam era, however, the modern vehicles tell a different story. Additionally, the hamster gave a more believable performance than the lead actor. The unnamed "villain" even got top billing over Brett Colter. This just goes to show what an amateur with a point-and-shoot camera and Adobe After Effect can do with just a few hours and no talent. I hope to never be subjected to anything like this again. Heaven forbid a sequel were to ever surface. I would rather have my eyelids taped open while being forced to watch "Two girls, one cup."
