In the first scene, there's an artful animation...
This movie slowly draws the viewer in. Mana is working in a peaceful hotel when Sumire's boyfriend visits and informs her that he will visit Sumire's mother's house because Sumire has passed away.
In the next scene, they are at Sumire's house, and she is checking her friend's belongings, including a cat-designed purse. She silently recalls a brief memory of her friend and falls onto the bed as touching background music plays... The movie gradually transitions into a meditative journey... This movie is slow, as many viewers feel while watching it, but I am well connected to it.
