The Spirit of the Ganga

The Spirit of the Ganga is a film that everyone must watch, regardless of your geographical location! I was really moved and inspired by Sumair's story, the guest speakers, learning about the culture of the River, and and the cinematography of the animals. Everyone involved did an incredible job with putting this film together. It captures the urgency of addressing environmental and human induced issues that negatively affect the Ganga and how they impact the wildlife. Sumair shows a rare dedication and commitment to improving the Ganges and helping all living organisms (both the wildlife and people who reside near the river) with his non-profit organization Save the Spirit of the Sea. Through his leadership and collaboration skills, he has made a huge impact so far, which is really important for others to learn about. His story can be an inspiration for others to understand how much positive change one is capable of when they couple their passion with helping and giving back to others. He is truly an inspiration for all and is a leader that is changing the trajectory of our future for the better. I hope that everyone gets the chance to see this film, especially the youth.
