    worst experience ever

So, this story of a sporadically fainting labrador retriever working for a bulldog. Didn't expect much, but it didn't hit even that low expectation. Horrible script full of convenient deus ex machinas and time wasting. Empty disgusting acting. It's much better to waste your time having a diarrhea next to some low life than to waste it watching this so called movie. Stopped at 30 minutes in after realizing that nothing happened at the screen.

If you have all the time in the universe spend it somewhere else, it will be much better. Cute guy playing Tom, that could fix the whole movie but as i mentioned, nonexistent script breaks everything apart.

I would give it 0 out of 10, but unfortunately can't.

    Oh dear...

Disclosure: I got about 40% of the way through this British film. It's rare for me to ever stop a film once I'm well over the 25% mark, but in this case the film had a sudden change of tone which threw me out of the viewing carriage I was riding in.

A young woman experiences headaches and flashes of scenes in her mind. This occurs in two versions of her in different realities. The women have different names, different jobs and different living situations. One is a call centre worker who has just quit her job due to stress. The other works for some kind of high tech. Company, but her job is stressful because the staff under her don't listen to her and her boss is trying to have an inappropriate relationship with her.

Eventually the two women swap places because one is about to be murdered - and that's where I stopped watching.

It's such a shame. This could have been a really good film. The premise is excellent and the acting fairly good. It's let down by the sudden change of tone and goes from being quite serious to being a whimsical fantasy. With the appearance of some kind of inter-dimensional being (who does not fit the tone of the film up to this point) I could no longer take the film seriously, and to save myself further disappointment I stopped watching.

A few notes: Hannah (or is Kate) says she "can't afford" doctor-prescribed pills. This is the UK and the NHS charges a flat fee of (currently) just under £10 for a prescription. She's not that poor by the seems of things. I also found the switching between worlds to be rather annoying. The first couple of times it happens it is just slipped in (the same person is wearing a different outfit when the camera cuts back). This is REALLY GOOD and is confusing at first, as it should be. However, this is totally spoilt by subsequently switching within a scene in a really obvious and annoying way - like hitting the viewer over the head with a hammer. No! This is how to spoil a clever idea.

Summary: there are currently two IMDB reviews; one good and one bad. I'm afraid I'm coming down in the middle. As much as I don't want to say it, don't waste your time with this film. I'm sure in another reality it's a cracker, but here in this one it is a damp squib.

I really enjoyed this, a nice British film, well cast with an interesting premise.

The description of the lead as a 'troubled young woman' did ring alarm bells with me as I don't generally enjoy watching people with troubled lives. However this was not really the case as the troubles she had were from the dimension slip effects, not from some miserable existence. I don't want to give too much away, but the scenes of workplace conflict, control and apathy are certainly addressed by a strong character and the she rights many wrongs which would be most peoples aim in such a situation. It was not predictable and i came away slightly confused but in a good way. Give it a go, it worked for me.
