The reunion with his parents is cold and his investigation begins badly because the Police seem not to give a great interest to the disappearance of Pao.

Five children are found dead in Lake Iveza. The city is boiling as Oliwina plunges back into a traumatic past. Telesphore who fears that this event will disturb his political career asks Commissioner Matangoye to close this case.

Oliwina and Martial discover that Telephorus bought the silence of the victims of the tragedy that occurred fifteen years earlier. The setbacks are piling up on the Telephore site.

Oliwina receives the visit of Leonce, a follower of the cult of Mami Wata. She reconnects with a past that was deeply buried in her. Pao is not found while Martial has problems with his hierarchical superior Commissioner Matangoye.

Oliwina discovers the sanctuary of Prince. They clash, Oliwina takes over and finds Pao after a fight against Ndeli. Pao is unfortunately Mort. Telesphore is excluded from the party while Nyangui asks for divorce.
