Don't Mind: Cruxmont

I loved story from beginning to end, it was an interesting exploration of the supernatural and not similar to anything I've seen or read before. The story of Cruxmont explores family, community, and certainly some horror.

The cast was impeccable. I'm a fan of the two leads and felt the dynamic really worked well. The sound design really sold the experience. The sounds of Cruxmont and voice performances combined gives the story the drama of a play and the detail to world building of a novel.

I would say the series was very satisfying and avoided cliches without seeming to try very hard. And like a truly engaging mystery

I did not see what was coming next.

From the thrilling story and endearing characters to sound design, music, voice acting and overall feel this is classic audio theater at its best. If I had any misgivings with the story it would only be that I was left wondering what became of the characters after the end. I might have ended it slightly differently but I'm an old romantic. A little bit campy, a little bit mystery and a little bit thriller, the sound design takes you to a small town in the English countryside and the story harkens back to the good old days when research often meant chasing opportunity and detective work, instead of purchased lab results and repeated lawsuits.
