A pretty girl seems to float among the stars in this short film from Pathe Freres.
As she writhes and twirls, the camera seems to do much the same, giving an air of lightness and floating in a gravityless environment. This particular technique does not seem to have survived in the language of cinema, but it is an interesting experiment.
