The Director met Actor Joe Lombardi at a restaurant where he was a waiter, they became good friends and he invited him to act in the film.
The scenes set in college where filmed in a real college, the same one that Russ Diapper and Daniel Bennett attended when they where younger, this is where Russ studied film, media and music and also acting classes. He made his acting debut in the drama department starring in plays, four years before enrolling to the college as a student.
The fairground shots where filmed a year earlier with plans to be used in another film, the film was canceled and it was used in this instead.
