    Fri, Jun 21, 2013
A standing-room-only audience packs Sandburn's Record Store as hillbilly scoundrels The Riverfront Boys bring their touring band for a triumphant return performance in honor of their new EP release "Fishin' In Mud". Host Durward MacGillovray is bedecked in an Army helmet to avoid getting concussed by a guitar--the boys' traditional show-ending stunt. The Riverfronts' rowdy and destructive behavior has made headlines in the Antioch Picayune newspaper. But in hopes of turning a new leaf, the lads offer to raise money for the local orphanage, including that grand tradition of "passing the hat". With no hat handy, Durward volunteers his Army helmet. Also: Guest artist Michael Todd talks about, then performs his original song "After Four Years"; sponsor Bob S. Bestos plugs Bestos Bags; and MacGillovray recites a poem from "My Mother-In-Law Resembles A Big Round Baler".
