All of the road names in the film are named after creators of classic werewolf films.
The film started as a prequel to the web series "The Haunted World of CW" until it took on its own life during production.
Charles Murzda studied the movements and behaviors of dogs and worked with a Husky German Shepard mix to get the movements of the werewolf for his performance.
The rig used to assist the werewolf in running was based on the rig from An American Werewolf in London.
Constance's trademark bat used in the film is a direct nod to Stephen King's Silver Bullet.
