      873 Bad Max is an obvious reference to Mel Gibson. He was referred to as "lethal" (a reference to Lethal Weapon (1987)), he asks a black cop is she is Jewish (Mel Gibson was pulled over and arrested for DUI on July 28, 2006 and made derogatory comments about Jews & women), in the flashback scene where he punches out the photographer his hairstyle and clothing are nearly identical to what Mel Gibson's character wore in Lethal Weapon.
