Ramin Karimloo and Hadley Fraser would later on play opposite each other as Jean Valjean and Javert in the London production of Les Misérables.
All of the original cast members return to perform the final reprise of One Day More, save for David Burt, the original London Enjolras, who claimed he didn't feel vocally up to the part any more. Also Patti LuPone, the original London Fantine, was not available to be there as she was starring on Broadway at the time this concert was filmed.
Lea Salonga previously played Eponine in Les Misérables in Concert (1995)/Les Misérables the Dream Cast in Concert (1995) for the musical's 10th anniversary, which also stars Jenny Galloway as Madame Thenardier.
Samantha Barks and Alistair Brammer would later on reprise the same roles in the film adaptation Les Misérables (2012).
