Conker and Banjo from the original Nintendo 64 game were each replaced by Dixie Kong and Tiny Kong respectively, due to Rare having been purchased by Microsoft Game Studios (Now Xbox Game Studios) in 2002, five years before this game was released.
This is the last video game remake from Nintendo developed by Rare.
