Decent plot that drags on to 39 episodes because of too many distractions and tangential stories. The main story is spoiled by way too many irrelevant scenes of sex. This series should be designated LG. The real story is probably 10%, rest does not make sense. Such a waste.
Loved watching this & I hope they bring it back soon!! Yes some of the scenes bounced around but that was ok... It was very interesting & got your mind going... Everyone has their own opinion so if you don't like it, don't watch it. But as you get further into it you'll want to continue watching it and will most likely binge watch it like most of it :) lol.. It would be great to continue to see what happens with everyone. And No, this is NOT a show like 911 it was never meant to be...Of course their main focus of their show is to get to their fire & get them out... This IS A TOTALLY DIFFERENCE Kind of Movie... Watch it you won't be Disappointed...
It is what it says on the tin. Sizzling hot. No male frontal nudity, some female bosom. Episode 2-8 lots of X-tion, episode 9-16 more into the main plot - The (real) Butcher of Reynosa. Episode 17-25 feel like the main plot and a few others are climaxing soon and I think I'll watch some more due to really killer cliffhangers at the end of episode 24 and 25! However, the bad news is they should have continued to build up momentum and tension and finish the season strong at episode 35 tops! Instead the show's taking a detour yet again with the flashbacks for a character I don't care about....
For a telenovela the pacing is quick unlike the other soaps that I'm struggling with (The Marked Heart & Pasion de Gavilanes).
In the first few episodes serious scenes that move the plot that interchange into sex scene can be jarring. But this doesn't happen in later episodes when the main plot get into the main focus.
Overall I find it enjoyable and I can binge a lot of episodes in one sitting. A great weekday watch.

When you are 911/911 Lone Star-Fan,you know
they somehow manages to begin and finish more than 1 Stories in 1-2 Episodes and Inbetween alot of Emergencies,Right?
Well this Show however manages to stretch it to 39 !!! EPISODES with just a few Emergencies.🤦
Yes there is alot Sexiness and Hotness but the Plot would easily fit into 9 Episode TOPS.
It is Torture for Fans of 911,thats for sure, dont watch it.
But for Telenovella-Fans maybe abit interesting.
Be aware that you will often find yourself predicting all the Time the Episodes just after watching a few Minutes.
There is nothing unforeseeable happing here at all and worse, they stretching it over alot Episodes.

As this Mexican series gets underway Poncho learns of his brother's murder. He was a journalist investigating a story that led to a Mexico City fire station. Poncho decides to find out what happened so heads to the fire station and ends up joining the crew. Meanwhile Ricardo Urzúa arrives and takes over the job of running the station; he has a secret though; he has just ended a twenty five year prison sentence for murder! Shortly after arriving Poncho gets involved with Olivia, the only woman on the team. If that weren't enough we get numerous subplots involving various firefighters and the people who live in the boarding house opposite the station which is run by the widow of the former chief; these are a group of women and the owner's gay son who fancies one of the firemen.
This series is melodrama, pure and simple. The central story of the hunt for the killer of Poncho's brother's killer and the truth behind Ricardo's motives would probably have been enough to sustain the series but every character in the fire station and boarding house seems to have drama in their lives. This isn't a major problem; it means there is always something happening and there are plenty of twists; some more plausible than others. There is a fair amount of sex and nudity but this reduces in later episodes as the plot homes in on the killer. Each episode provides tense moments and frequently end with cliff-hangers. The acting is solid; sometimes it feels like there is some overacting but I thought that suited the melodramatic nature of the series. Overall I found this to be a fun series.
