Ninja She-Devil

As you can see in my summary I will review Ninjaken The naked Sword directed by Yoshikazu Katô. Although it is easy to catch on DVD it isn't on IMDb. Why I can't tell because other flicks by the director are online and do have the same rituals going on as for example Kunoichi (2009).

Why it is called Ninjaken is for me a mystery because in fact it has nothing to do with a ninja sword. The sword is replaced by a giant wooden dildo. And by saying that you know you are in Pinku territory. It do starts off with a fight but it is so badly done that you immediately know that you are watching a low budget production. It is only at the end that the Ninjaken is coming back on screen but in between the first act and the last it's all about making captured woman into sex slaves. There's a lot of nudity going on and a lot of lesbo action but it is still in the erotic genre were only breasts are shown and nothing else. When the girls are in action they scream aloud just like in all those Japanese flicks.

Overall it was a big disappointment. It was just about girls getting off on each other and on some men and not about female ninja's. It even got some bad acting and bad fighting scene's.

Pinku eiga or pink films is usually the description of Japanese soft porn featuring all kinds of genres but with that in common that it has lots of nudity and sex scenes.

This little film about a female ninja, doesn't change the genre, nor is it an underrate masterpiece it just is funny slightly entertaining story about a female ninja who has to travel while being chased by various enemies.

Storyline(even though it has very bizarre content at times) is pretty flat and forgettable but has some nice fighting scenes, decent acting(Yuma Asami and Lemon Hanazawa stands out)and very bad SFX. This film must been shot on a shoe string budget but the filmmakers was probably aware of this, and does a good job out of it.

Soft porn regardless of country has always been a guilty pleasure for me so watch this film if you don't expect too much or just like find thrash cinema exciting.
