Based on a true story of a resistance group in Nazi occupied Denmark during World War II.
On January 11th 2019, it was announced on TV2's Eastern Jutland news that a sequel is in the making. They expect to start filming in April of 2020 and hope for a premiere in October that same year. The reason for the long wait is that a lot of research has to be done and it's not easy to come by because WWII became a taboo subject after Denmark's Liberation. They want to film in Spring, so that the season fits when it was announced that the Germans were pulling out which was on the eve of May 4th 1945. The next day, Denmark was liberated.
Hvidsten Inn is still open and owned by the descendants of the Fill family.
