There's something very odd going on here. The 'Storyline' begins
> Tells the story of Kayla Adams ...
OK. But when we look at the list of 'Top cast' we see 18 actors - but there is no character called 'Kayla'. So, let's go to 'Full Cast & Crew'; what do we find there? A list of _24_ actors - but still no 'Kayla'. Finally, down at the bottom, in the 'Rest of cast listed alphabetically' we find Kelcey Mawema, portraying Kayla Adams.
Is Kelcey Mawema not the star of this picture? What in the world is going on with this billing?!?
HA HA -- now they hve fixed it!

When I first heard about this movie I was not sure about it but then I decided to watch it and after half of watching it I realised It's a movie for everyone it's an intense movie which is not for children and definelty not for young teens. It's hard to watch a lot of cruel things that was happining in the movie and when you realise that the same thing happens to some tennager every year, after this I got better inspiration to do whatever it takes to help teenagers around me so they would get into a places like this. I recomend you to watch this movie if you think your life is hard. And this movie will help you realise how much you have in life, even then when you think you don'th ave anything. But please do not watch this movie if you are sensitive psyche person.
This movie is absolutely heart wrenching- in a good way. The way they represent the facility makes me feel like i'm experiencing it for myself. I connected with the characters and just wanted to hug them throughout the entire movie. These kinds of things do actually happen to real people, in real life. I'm so glad that this issue is finally being brought up in media more and I feel it was represented amazingly. I have not been through similar experiences, thank god, I feel as if anyone can relate to how they're feeling, at least somewhat. I haven't been so moved by a movie in a long time. I highly recommend this movie. I thought the acting was good, and overall I don't have any gripes with the movie. Seriously, go watch it.
I'm giving this a top rating because it's a must see for anyone with parents.
The main take away from this is to listening to your damned children.
But also keep in mind that this underplays the horrors that occur at these facilities. They manage to cover the basics, these place are callous and only care about their own financial gain.
But it does not depict the corporal punishment that occurs. Nor does it delve below the surface of the sexual predators these places attract. They make out that only the main lady running the place is the bad person and the rest are just being browbeaten into submission, this is a best case scenario.
Everyone and anyone that is involved in this industry should be imprisoned, including the school counselors who refer children to these facilities. Sometimes for kickbacks. This also helps includes judges.
Disgusting people up and down the chain that do not deserve the benefit of the doubt nor the luxury of freedom.

As expected out of LM it was average at best. The only reason I didn't rate it lower was because it made me cry. Only reason for that was (as a now adult) I myself have been in and out of MANY of these places. I know how it feels to be in a place just like this but 20 times worse. This place looked bad but what I went through could not hold a candle to it.
My issue with this movie was the actors sucked and at times I just could not relate with the lead. Pretty just could not act! I do like miss Campbell and miss Muñoz though. I have seen Muñoz in a few movies but I must admit this was a first for Campbell and I will be looking out for more of her. As far as this movie goes I would say watch it if you have been through it or if you have a child in a place like this.
I wish my parents had watched a movie like this... Shining light on a subject I feel should be known by ALL by now. These places can be worse then anyone can ever imagine. Everyone should know what goes on in the so called "Problem Child's" life! Just do not expect great acting because at times the movie was just laughable.
