Battle of the Bone (2008)

Trivia

Battle of the Bone

Edit
Co-star Laura Jenkins was pregnant during her scenes (including fight scenes) but didn't tell director George Clarke as she knew he would reduce the action with her.
During production, the story was so original that media staff interviewed director George Clarke from all corners of the world. Some of its stills have been put in print from NI to LA.
The original script was much more epic with a blood bath outside Belfast City Hall. With the council against it, and budget restraints, it was never caught on camera. Director George Clarke plans to release a graphic novel based on his original story for the 10 year anniversary.
The gang of thugs chasing each separate hero, are the same players for each chase/fight scene, with most of the same players staring as the main zombies also. A total of 4 roles throughout the film.
Director George Clarke was originally set to play the lead role of David, but pulled out after a few days to focus on BTS duties as it was his first project. The role went to first time actor Shane Todd who was assistant to the director at the time.
