Laloux sauvage

René Laloux: Films can often be a beautiful art form, remarkably polished but lacking in content. My approach is the opposite. I have always expressed ideas through scripts and subjects which are independent and free. Today films reveal more and more. It's the filmmaking of paranoid dictators. But they say less and less. We'd be better off with films made by schizophrenics but there aren't any films made by schizophrenics. Except for animation, perhaps.
