I'm so glad that this is the final "Kevin"
Episode. He's such an insufferable , boring character. It's always the same! He thinks he has everything under control, he flops, he comes up with some "self enlightened"(mostly one-sided) argument/diatribe, and then all is well until the next "rinse & repeat".
The casting is spot-on and in this episode we see the multi-generational kids really shine. We have some old favorites return, too. Uncle Nicky really gets what Cassidy is going through and is able to educate Kevin as well as steer Cassidy to the right place for help. Another poignant, relatable episode.
There are some lines that just stay with you. And this certainly was one of them. Kevin said it as he was reminiscing over his dead father.
Having personally gone through something similar myself, I felt it deeply.

TIU has become insufferable. They are just dragging this out with a boring, dull storyline. So glad this is the last season. I'm just staying with it because I want to see what happens but honestly I could just watch the finale and probably not miss anything.

In this episode right after they split up Kate says that Kevin had literally just gotten his cast off and that it hadn't been too long since their dad died which was about 6 years before.
