While taking their annual camping trip to say goodbye to their deceased father, Jenny and Sam Heartwell encounter an extraterrestrial visitor. This emissary is being hunted to prevent them from making first contact with humanity and ultimately helping them take their place among the stars. Now, they must help this emissary in order to save both the earth and their relationship.
