Watching this movie is almost like being there and do the hike by myself. I love the surroundings! Such a beautiful nature and it is a great job the actrice did, because she is almost the only figure in the movie, but it is never bored. Watch this movie and you will be there! 👍
I sincerely enjoyed this movie. It was beautiful and also relatable. The beginning visual and the peaceful sound of moving water had me in from the get go. The scenery was so lovely and the feels were all there. I honestly had to remind myself, several times that I was not watching a documentary, it felt so true. Thank you for making this film. That being said... I would like to add that access finding and getting the film was complicated. Also, I watched and I have a friend who also watched separately from me, and we both had to deal with a CONSTANT buffering issue. I am certain it was not our Wi-Fi. Would watch again if not for this....
Beautifully shot, but also beautifully imagined.
There's a clear storyline here, and it's presented to us in the first five minutes: Sophie's journey to or from other human beings.
Sophie clearly feels trapped by expectations and by life, by human beings.
As we follow Sophie's escape through the stunning Arctic scenery with all its capriciousness, we also follow her interractions with those she meets and those from home through phonecalls. Will she reach her physical destination? Will she also reach a spot in her life where she can safely and happily connect with frinds and family?
A beautful film.

The fact that the main character actually hikes the full distance during the making of this film adds to the overall feel while watching the movie. The storyline seems simple enough: hiking from the North Cape to Finland. However, the personal story of the main character travels the same distance. This, combined with the stunning landscapes of Norway, the ever changing weather and the challenges along the way make this movie one of my personal favorites. The fact that I'm I hiker myself definitely adds to this.
Anyway, go watch this movie and see how each of us perceive reality differently, which may be even more apparent when walking in the wilderness.

I came across the movie *Human Nature* on TikTok, and the trailer immediately caught my attention. As a big fan of travel and hiking films, I was especially excited to see a female protagonist. Having just returned from a hiking trip in Norway, my expectations were high.
Unfortunately, I was disappointed. I rented the movie for 6.99, but it didn't live up to my hopes. The nature shots are undeniably stunning and delivered exactly what I had anticipated. However, the storyline was far too shallow to be engaging. On top of that, I found the main actress difficult to watch - she was just so hard to relate to.
All in all, I think I would have enjoyed the breathtaking landscapes more if they weren't tied to such a weak plot. A missed opportunity, in my opinion.
