I watched Casey Seigle and teammates' movie 🎬 as a scriptwriter and a beginner videographer. So enjoyable! Attention to period set details and costuming is wonderful! It's light and funny as well. The lead actor would have looked great interacting with a cartoon Jessica Rabbit, etcetera... Thanks Casey and teammates for letting us ask our questions after the show! I hope you each keep creating in whatever medium interests you now!

If you like goofy films in the film noir style, you'll love this rollicking adventure as Guthrie. Hayward tries to sober up long enough to solve a crime that turns out to be much more than he bargained for. A great performance by Eric Nepom as Guthrie with just the right mix of comedy and pathos. Kate Faye Cummings plays a great "femme fatale", with her smoky voice and seductive body language. Guthrie doesn't quite know what hit him! Great supports by the cast, especially the siblings. Shot mostly in black and white in carefully chosen locations, it strikes just the right chord! The music fits the mood perfectly. The editing and production values by Casey Siegel hold the film together well, and although you wouldn't see Humphrey Bogart smoking a spliff, this film feels authentic to its mission to create a spoof of the film noir genre. Great way to spend a Saturday night!
