Reasonable episode, with a laughably bad accent

The story picks up from the last series, and continues in much the same manner.

We see some old faces and are introduced to a new one.

Sadly, the production team couldn't find a British actor in all of their casting, and ended up with a NZ-raised, American who tried so hard to effect a British accent with laughably bad results (it's moderately better that the infamous Dick Van Dyke accent in Mary Poppins).

So excited to see how this ends!

Hope i dont get dissapointed because this was an amazing 10years series. Hopefully we get who really RR is... first of the series was amazing. Also ffs pls cut the required characters from 600 lower like 100 its freaking annoying its nothing to say so much ffs its no reason for this fr. Wtf.........

Promising start but Aram should be back if he isn't!

I was waiting eagerly for this season because this is the last chance to enjoy one of greatest show I've ever witnessed. The gang of blacklister is teaming up against our beloved character (James Spader). Let see how things work but i want aram to be there in whole season as he turned up in this episode. He is a very jolly character and he adds special flavor in the chemistry between FBI and Red. Dembee is currently working with FBI but it would be more appropriate if he works for Red and daughter of malik joins the team replacing dembee. Last thing I want is to have maximum episodes of this finale!!

So Much to Catch Up On

When a series last 10 years (amazing) there are so many characters, so many threats, and so many unanswered questions, that to try to fit things together after a couple years isn't easy. Reddington is back and seems to be keeping a low profile. Ignoring Aram when he calls to him on the street. Of course, he know news of him will get back to the task force. So off we go. That nasty Chinese guy is back and wants to gain control of the Blacklist people and form his own empire. We find that a government spy organization has been invaded and now the gloves are off. Reddington has taken a trip to Havana and has gleaned information, then headed back to the U. S. This first episode of the season is action packed and sets up another glorious set of events where the bad guys need throttling.

    Wow!

Wow! What a premiere! Season 10 starts with a loud-bang, along with an interesting mystery that immediately hooks the viewer due to how fast-pace and driven it is. No unnecessary or filler scenes in this episode, and it just get straights to the point of the story, therefore the episode does not waste time.

I was expecting a premiere that was similar to previous premieres in past seasons but this season's premiere just hit differently like a truck. I had an absolute amazing time watching this episode and it did not lose my attention at all. Highly recommend those who watched and gave up on the Blacklist to give it a chance because this is surprisingly super good.

    • Trivia
The character Slya Malik is the daughter of Agent Meera Malik, who was on the Blacklist Task Force during Season One.
    • Goofs
Siya Malik told Cooper "I don't make a practice of talking with him about how she died." However, that is an American idiom. A British person (like Malik) would have said "talking *to* him". She added that the SIS (aka MI6) could "loan" her to the Task Force. A British person would have said "lend".
