I really like this show, but this episode was not funny. Every year people die from alcohol poisoning or other alcohol related issues, and the glorification of hazing and getting wasted is not a humorous topic, especially when it is presented in a supposedly family friendly program. I was actually horrified to see the glorification of "frat" humor as presented, though it also included a bit of "tsk tsk' (wink-wink, nod-nod) disapproval. Kids have enough pressure on them to cave to unhealthy pursuits. Why present them with one more confusing mixed message?
There are two parts in this episode talking about Trevor's story and Thor's feelings about Flower. So far the series usually have the comedic formula in a scene but there's always drama and dealing with issues. This is my favorite episode about Trevor, Thor and Flower. My dad, brother and I laughed. The ending of this episode was funny and satisfying.
Jay tries to sell the pocket watch they found in the cellar, the guy that's potentially buying it turns out to be one of Trevor's friends.
Finally we get Trevor's story, it seems like we've waited an age for it, finally it's here, and it was worth the wait, this was one of series one's best episodes, this was wonderful, and so funny.
I've really liked Trevor, but he hasn't exactly been centre stage at any point, he's been a bit cheeky, a project of his time, and he's definitely got the hot jock thing going on, but we learn that he's actually a damn good guy.
Could a Viking and a hippy ever be romantic, Thor and Flower's relationship came quite out of left field, amusing though. Poor Pete, he was put in quite some situation.
Class, absolute class, 9/10.

- TriviaThe Chekhov Chill prank is based on the Smirnoff Icing prank, originating in 2010 at the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity at the College of Charleston in South Carolina.
- GoofsIt is revealed that Trevor's body is (still) hidden in the Lake on the Woodstone Estate. This would mean friends and family would just have assumed he'd gone missing, rather than knowing he was dead. Yet in Jay's Sister (2022), Trevor finds a photo of himself from his obituary. However, given that he was missing 20 years, it's entirely possible that his family had him declared dead at some point, even without a body.
