During the course of filming, writer/director Dan Glaser (who until this point had been an aspiring actor and only wrote the film to get footage for his acting reel) fell in love with production and began pursuing a career in filmmaking. It was this short that inspired him to go on to direct his first feature-length film effort, "Pinching Penny."
