The movie was shot in 2007 and was supposed to come out in early 2008. There's even an announcement at the end of the movie's credits, saying "Rise of the Damned, Coming Spring 2008". Yet, it actually wasn't released until 2011.
Jessica Kate Meyer's last film before before leaving the industry to be ordained as a rabbi--a decision she made after co-starring in The Pianist (2002).
