During the air chase sequences, stunt pilot Chuck Stockdale accidentally flew in a series of low hanging but nearly invisible electrical wires. Expert piloting avoided a serious accident but the footage was so good, the film's director left it in the picture.

Into the Spider's Web was based on two of the Christopher Brooke novels written by Warren Chaney. The books' villain, The Spider Woman, eludes authorities as in the film version. She is captured however, in a third book, not part of the original feature.
