This interpretation is actually one of the best, well funded. The set and world building is out of this world. The Cgi is on point. The actors are amazing. The dialogue is even more intriguing, storyline is on point. The casting is on point. As a Zulu, I am especially proud of this one. Everyone did their absolute best. From the first episode it has been a wonderful journey. It's like we have time traveled back into the past to see how it actually was back then. I wish that this story be seen by the whole world so that they may busk, learn and be amazed as I am. With 30 characters left I want to say thank you the teams that were involved in making this, please don't stop we need ten seasons.

I'm such a huge fan of political drama/action, and this show is amongst the best I've ever seen in not only south Africa, but in the world. To me it political intrigue, acting, direction and production is nothing short of brilliance. The fact that it was created by the same people who did Yizo Yizo did not come as a shock considering how much they were able to draw in the raw and unfiltered true nature of human greed, trauma, abandonment, and even not shy away from it's explicit storytelling that exposes the standard of living of that time.

The moment I stepped foot in Shaka Ilembe, I was struck by the serene surroundings and the majestic views of the valley below. The reconstructed Zulu village, crafted with attention to detail and authenticity, transported me back in time to the era of the great King Shaka.

The guides were knowledgeable, passionate, and eager to share their insights into the history and significance of the site. The traditional Zulu dance performances and cultural demonstrations added a vibrant and dynamic element to the experience.

What truly made my visit unforgettable was the warm welcome from the local community. Their enthusiasm and pride in sharing their heritage were palpable, making me feel like an honored guest rather than just a tourist.

Shaka Ilembe is more than just a historical site - it's an immersive cultural experience that will leave you enriched, inspired, and connected to the heartbeat of Africa.

This show is beautifully made with great acting, stunning visuals and exciting storylines. What makes it special is its attention to detail in showing the Zulu culture and traditions. For me it the best limited TV series I've seen in recent years in south African television.great cast,great storytelling,great production.i love every minute of that show can't wait to see season 3.i hope season will be bigger and better.it every award it has and those it will get in the future.....
