The highly cultured, flat-headed and personal odyssey about opera and friendship Act III begins. Allan is in a panic. His opera is missing the third act and he must once again ask his friends Frederik and Rasmus for help.
On a road trip somewhere between God and hobbits, Rasmus begins a difficult conversation with Frederik. Allan reveals a hidden ability when the trip goes to Chicago where the friends must experience the underdog composer Janacek's "Jenufa"
It involves dancing, inappropriate drunkenness and broken ankles when Frederik takes Allan and Rasmus on an ambivalent journey back into the past. The friends visit Frederik's old music school and see Gounod's "Romeo and Juliet".
In Californias beautiful nature the 3 friends chase the ultimate beauty. New areas of Rasmus' body are brought into focus, Allan's gratitude is tested, and Frederik's sensitive side is revealed when the journey heads towards San Francisco
Frederik breaks the law in the quest to find their true identity. Allan finally solves a 20 year old mystery about a special sound when he travels to Los Angeles to hear a brand new Latin American opera about Frida Kahlo.
A stomach infection puts Allan out of the game, and Rasmus and Frederik have to improvise a new plan in the coffee capital of Seattle. It all culminates with the modern jazz-inspired opera "X", which challenges Frederik.
Rasmus is living out a secret dream, Frederik challenges the good mood, and Allan takes the ass of both of them when the final period for the journey is set with the ultimate drunken operetta farce "The Bat" in Florida.
