    Sensational acting

The outstanding performances from the cast truly bring authenticity to the series, making it feel like a compelling documentary. The storytelling is executed with remarkable finesse, and Jodie Whittaker's character shines as a true triumph, adding depth to the narrative. Despite the crimes the characters have committed you end up cheering for them and hoping for a happier outcome for them and the people that love them. It's impressive how this series manages to surpass the excellence of the male prison storyline, which is no small feat. This is a near faultless display of talent and storytelling.

    Wonderful performances

I thought that the acting in the series was very well done by all the women involved. The Bella Ramsey's performance was outstanding. Her portrayal of a young drug addict finding a reason to live after seeing the scan of her baby was very convincing. I've seen her several things and it felt she was a good actress but after this, I have decided she's a great actress with so much potential for the future. The actresses that portrayed the two other main characters, I had never seen before, but both gave great performances as well. I was surprised at the conveniences that were available in the women's facilities, allowing the prisoners to have a phone in their room, especially since the men are not allowed the same convenience. I wanted it to be longer, and hopeful they do a third season.
