First off, the singing and acting in this are amazing. All of the actors delivered. Im Sunhae sang like an angel and I was floored by her singing in that party. She looks so lovely and nice. Kyuhyun was also fantastic. His singing and acting are full of emotion, he made me immersed in the story and I felt really sympathetic to Eric. His acting in the end is especially wonderful, I couldn't stop crying. Even though his face was covered by a mask, the changes in emotions reflected in his eyes, lips, and voice were impeccable. And when he sings with that beautiful and powerful voice of his, I couldn't help but be in awe and pulled further into the story. Also, Madam Carlotta was so enjoyable as a villain! I couldn't hate her. Not to mention the ballet performance! Oh, it was really beautiful and it conveys the story flawlessly I just cried hard watching it unfolds.
Secondly, the story is just really great. This story mainly reveals about the humane side of the Phantom, and the tragic story of his is told smoothly and beautifully with the dramatic grand numbers. It also touches about the purest form of love, mother's love, and it's something that a lot of people can appreciate. I love that they sprinkle some jokes in there too so it's not just heavy all the time.
Third, the set and the musical numbers are impeccably beautiful. It was a set that was made for a stage but the quality of it was really nice. The chandelier was especially gorgeous. Besides that, the directing of the camera angles and zooms really made the set has depth and realism, it just pulls you into the world. A marvelous job from the director. For the musical numbers, as I said before, they flawlessly and efficiently conveys the story while sounding like masterpieces. Maybe because the actors and actresses are so good at performing them too, but the numbers are really a treat to the ears. They are dramatic, grand, and gorgeous. Lovely.
In brief, I really enjoyed it. This tragic story of the Phantom, wrapped neatly in the magnificent performance of the actors and actresses, smooth directing, lovely setting, and beautiful musical numbers, is excellent.

This musical is beautiful. All great actors and vocals. It takes you on a touching and heartfelt journey. I'm so happy I get to watch it whenever I want. It moves me to tears everytime. I love the storytelling, it really engages you and keeps you interested. I think anyone that appreciates a good story can get much value from this, even if they are not familiar with musicals. I watched with family and they loved it too. This musical really feels like a safe place to always return to. There is romance, comedy, drama, even action, and of course a display of everything art should be. All elements, acting, stage, costume, songs, vocals come together beautifully. I love it so much.
Finally a lush, stunning-produced, star-studded Broadway-quality (or better?) production of Phantom, the "other" musical version of Phantom of the Opera. For those who don't know, this musical was Broadway-bound in the 1980s until the Andrew Lloyd Webber version premiered in London; investors backed out when they realized Webber was bringing his version to Broadway. Phantom has gorgeous break-your-heart music, a clear storyline that actually focuses on the Phantom, a complex man who the audience gets to know very well. The cast is unbelievable. Cho Kyuhyun, "the voice of Korea", and one of the main vocalists of the beloved legendary K-pop group Super Junior, brings the passion, complexity, pathos, and effortless powerful golden vocals to the title role. The other cast members are equally flawless, vocally and acting-wise. Of note, this version, produced 4 times (so far) in Seoul, has added a touch of music -- even more songs for the Phantom in particular. The phantom is humanized without loosing his passion and mystery, Christine is also given more agency and incredible music to sing, and the love triangle (a new character named Phillipe vs Raoul) is believable. There are additional characters and plot that heighten the gothic drama and give the main characters more motivation for their actions. I think this is THE definitive version of Phantom of the opera anywhere (screen, theatre, novel-form) and this production couldn't be better. Don't miss it!

This is a wonderful adaptation, I fully recommend people to see it. So many talented actors! Kyuhyun particularly stands out, his voice is just perfect for the theater; I can only imagine how wonderful if would have been to hear him live. I was also amazed by his acting skills, his performance is touching and very emotional.
The rest of the cast are also very talented and skilled actors and actresses. Although I generally disliked Christine's character, the actress has an amazing voice and is super talented as well.
If you are a fan of musicals or a fan of Kuyhyun, this is definitely a must-watch for you!

Although I did not know this version of the musical, I realized that it is wonderful. He is a much more human and warm version of Erik, he made me feel many emotions at the same time. The songs are beautiful, the scenery and performances incredible. Especially the stellar Kyuhyun, he has an amazing voice, his performance moved me to tears, and Christine's voice was amazing, the soprano is on the level of Broadway actors. I liked it much better than The Phantom of the Opera.
I loved Erik's scene with Christine on the little boat, when he takes her to his secret hideout. It's such a beautiful song, I could feel Erik's feelings towards Christine, the set design was perfect, and the lighting was too professional.
