Most of episodes used to be dramatic presentation of true stories of real life cases. Show featured so many high profile sensational cases as well as lesser known cases from all over the country.
Initially show was a crime documentary series.
The first season ran from 2003 to 2006. This season was first hosted by Diwakar Pundir and was later replaced by Shakti Anand. The second season started (Crime Patrol Sansani) in 2010 and was hosted by Anup Soni and Sakshi Tanwar. Third and fourth season was hosted by Anup Soni. Fourth season (Crime Patrol Dastak/Satark) was the most successful and popular season of the show.
